Hi, I'm Johnny Victory a singer, actor and entertainer specialising in period music from the 1920s - 1960s along with many other genres of music. I provide high energy shows of song and dance, which will entertain your audience.

BLUEBIRD BELLES

The Bluebird Belles are a professional 1940s & Vintage vocal harmony trio from the West Midlands, England. Inspired by The Andrews Sisters and specialising in retro sounds from the 1920s right up to the present day, this glamorous, authentic girl group cater to your specific needs, bringing vintage glamour to your wedding, event or private party. The girls perform nationwide, including Birmingham, London, Manchester and beyond, and will perform internationally.

Introducing The George Formby Experience, Great Britain's top lookalike entertainer, bringing back the legendary George Formby back into our hearts. ''Resemblance to the great man himself is just so uncanny in every way. Mr.Formby must have had a secret lovechild that we were unaware of '' - President of the GFS.

JOULES NOBLE

Singing war time favourites at many 40's events around the country and at private events. My love is the Great American Song Book and would love to front a Jazz band again. Adore Clare Teal voice and her presentation of songs old and new.

KITTEN VON MEW

Kitten von Mew is Britain’s leading 1940’s pinup model. She entertains at WWII events and Blitz Balls across the country and over the pond for reenactors, families and veterans alike! Famed for her family-friendly fan dances, Kitten von Mew has something for everyone and also performs a short singing set of 1940’s songs. Her performances are usually used to raise funds for the British Legion and Help for Heroes at charity events.

MOONLIGHT SERENADE

Moonlight Serenade (Glenn Miller Tribute), Band Of Brothers. Dressed in GI uniforms along with suitable & appropriate props. Relive with Moonlight Serenade the golden era of The Glenn Miller Big Band sound, creating a true 1940's ambiance to put you "In The Mood".

BLITZ DANCERS

The Blitz Dancers are husband and wife team Andrew & Sandra Robinson, they will bring a dash of style and pizzazz to any party or event, playing an entertaining and authentic mix of 1930s or 1940s dance music and providing a dazzling display of vintage dance.

CASTLE BELLES

Castle Belles were formed in the summer of 2012, led by Elaine Buckland Vocal Coach at Wolverhampton University. Meeting weekly in Llanfair Caereinion.

Ashby Little Big Band

The Big Band was the idea of Ashby-de-la-Zouch trumpeter David Bradford who not only wanted to offer local musicians the chance to play in one of the best big bands around, but to also give the local community a band they could be proud of. The band is now one of the best Glenn Miller/1940s tribute bands in the country, with many players living in the Ashby area but also players coming from as far afield as Birmingham, London and Sheffield.

BUILTH MALE VOICE CHOIR

We are a group of some fifty or so men of varying ages (OK – we’re mostly in or beyond our middle years but we always welcome younger voices to join!) who enjoy singing to entertain and raise funds for good causes. We have two talented and musical ladies to keep us on track – together and in tune and they have both been involved with the choir for at least the last twenty-six years.

1940s PARADE

Led by Gwent & Powys ACF Band see many of the re-enactors parade through the town on Saturday 28th September at Midday. Re-enactors to assemble at Cafe Inglenook in Union Street at 11.45am

As you walk around the town, you will be captivated by Re-Enactors and Entertainers in period costume, vintage vehicle displays, trade stands, music and dancing. Take a trip on a vintage bus, learn about life in the 1940s with living history displays & exhibitions including – Bevin Boys, Women’s Timber Corp, experience sitting in an air raid shelter, frontline medical and much more!
